Watch an episode of the Nate Berkus show and you'll be hooked. He is a very well rounded interior designer who incorporates design, fashion and food to create an addictive, interesting day time show.
What caught my eye about one of his recent episodes, was how he focused on designing on a budget, calling it "Paycheck to Paycheck design"...Amen Nate! He followed many of the grace & chaos philosophies, specifically using eye popping colors to re engerize a "found" object or a "second time around" furniture piece. Check out Nate's use of a robin's egg blue for the mirror and side tables! And he got those side tables off of craigslist! It's all about having the vision to see a piece for more than what meets the eye; creating a world of possibilities in a piece that others have already deemed unworthy.
Thank you to Nate for this design, right after our own heart!
